The reason I am comparing Matthew and Drew is that I want to point out in this review that Matthew’s voice is different from Drew’s, which is a good thing. Matthew doesn’t pull a lot of dick-head moves. Matthew is his own man in this book, even though he is crude at times (in one particular scene, he did the man-let’s-gross-a-woman-out-thing and I wanted to smack him), he isn’t as mocking and sarcastic as Drew. Matthew’s philosophy on love, marriage and life is tamer, less cynical and poignant. Matthew is also a hump and dump man-whore, although not to the same extent as Drew. TAMED is Matthew Fisher and Delores (Dee) Warren’s book, following the same timeline as Tangled and told in Matthew’s point of view. TAMED is the third book in the Tangled series, and although this is a standalone book, I would highly recommend readers dive into Tangled first, it will make reading TAMED that much more enjoyable.įor readers who have read Tangled, this book gives you another point of view to Kate and Drew’s love story.
